When you use WaiterMate, we may collect:

• Restaurant information, such as restaurant name, restaurant ID, logo, and settings
• Staff login information, such as staff names, PIN-based login records, and role information
• Order data, such as open orders, closed orders, exported order data, item names, prices, table information, tips, tax, and service charges
• Technical information required for app functionality, such as device-level session state and Firebase service data
• Email address information used for activation and export delivery, where applicable

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide real-time synchronization between waiter, kitchen, bar, and admin views
• Manage restaurant setup, staff access, and restaurant-specific settings
• Generate and deliver order exports
• Support subscriptions, trials, activation, and account-related flows
• Maintain app security, stability, and service reliability

3. Cloud Services

WaiterMate uses third-party cloud services, including Firebase, to store and process restaurant data such as settings, staff records, order data, and exported files.

4. Subscription and Billing

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. We do not collect or store your full payment card information.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share data only with service providers necessary to operate the app, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, and subscription infrastructure.

6. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Exported order data and operational records may be deleted or archived according to restaurant usage and app retention settings.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect restaurant data. However, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

8. Your Choices

You may request deletion of a restaurant workspace through the app’s management features or by contacting us. You may also cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple account subscription settings.

9. Children

WaiterMate is intended for business and restaurant operations and is not directed to children.

10. International Use

Your data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
